Global Experience
Besides the student exchange programmes, students also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in fast-growing economies overseas under NTU's flagship Global Immersion Programme, where students spend an academic term or six months in the US or China. It is designed to maximise immersion potential and to groom future leaders to excel in a global environment. Unlike the student exchange programmes, GIP is not restricted by reciprocity where a student is exchanged for another.
Participants sent to China will work in various high-tech parks while taking lessons on Chinese culture, history and language at renowned institutions like Tsinghua and Peking Universities. Students going to the US will attend classes relevant to their discipline, as well as develop their entrepreneurial skills.
