Undergraduate Programmes

This course seeks to provide essential knowledge and skills for efficient and effective management of IT projects. The course covers fundamentals of contemporary IT project management from project planning, organization and execution to solution sourcing, vendor selection and contract establishment, and concludes with quality control and people management. The course employs a combination of lectures, case analysis, video sessions, group discussions and lab exercises involving one or two popular project management tools. At the end of the course, the student would be equipped with essential skills and know-how to manage an IT project.
