The 8-week or 10-week Professional Attachment (PA) completed by our NBS students at the end of their second year of study, is carefully crafted to be relevant and enriching, allowing our students to acquire first-hand practical experience and sharpen their skills in the industry. In addition to providing practical real-life work experience for our students to balance their academic training, NBS students also get to interact and network with professionals in the working environment, setting up valuable contacts necessary to give them the edge in the working world. The PA experience often serves as an excellent opportunity for employers to assess our students and their high quality, prior to making a permanent job offer to them, even before graduation.
Almost all of our graduates find employment within three months of completing their examinations and leaving the School. These companies employing them are premier organisations in their own industry and sector. Our graduates also command good starting salaries and experience faster career growth due to the rigor of the training they received from NBS. Indeed, many outstanding leaders have been produced by us in the fields of Accountancy and Business for the Singapore economy. True leaders in their respective fields, many of our graduates presently hold senior level positions as CEOs, CFOs, Partners and Directors of established global organisations such as the Big Four Accounting firms, Shell Eastern Petroleum, Exxon-Mobil, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, OCBC, Unilever, Keppel Land, Singapore Telecommunications, Starhub, etc.
