The Centre for Research in Financial Services (CREFS) conducts high quality research on the major issues concerning the global financial market and draws heavily on the expertise of the School's Banking and Finance faculty. Since its establishment in 1992, the Centre has made a significant contribution to the understanding of market microstructure, fund management, equity and fixed-income markets, foreign exchange, derivatives, corporate finance, central banking policies, and international finance.
Serving as a bridge between academic scholarship and industry best practices, the Centre conducts executive education programs, organizes conferences and seminars involving academics and practitioners, and undertakes consulting projects.
