Structure
The 18-month Programme will be divided into six, 2-week segments. Three courses will be completed in each segment. Click here to view the structure.
Schedule
Most 2-week long segments start on a Saturday and conclude on a Saturday. There will be classes scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays, so that participants will need to take fewer days off from work to attend each segment.
Each course, equivalent to 36 hours of class contact, will be completed in five days. A typical day scheduled from 8:00am to 9:45pm, is interspersed with seminar sessions, meals and tea breaks and supervised group discussions.
A field trip, in the form of a visit to a local company, is included in the schedule. On some evenings, industry guest speakers from around the region will be invited to share their experience. The fifth day of each course is set aside for consultation with the professor, self-study and assessments. Click here to view schedule.
For flexibility, Nanyang Executive Education provides participants with 3 schedules for completing the EMBA programme:
1. Normal Candidature: This takes 18 months following the normal EMBA Programme Schedule.
2. Accelerated Candidature: This completes the Programme within a shorter duration by taking the BNAMP pathway in conjunction with other EMBA courses conducted every alternate quarter.
3. Extended Candidature: This takes up to 2.5 years for executives whose work and personal commitments do not permit the normal candidature schedule.
Scheduled to make full use of weekends for classes, the Programme minimizes your time away from work. For each 2-week segment, you will only need to take ten days off from work so you may earn the prestigious Nanyang EMBA Degree without disrupting your career. The modular format also ensures that you do not miss out on any component of the Programme.
