Faculty Biographies
Before joining Nanyang Business School in 2001, Dr Connor had taught in Australian universities for over ten years. He has also worked as professional editor, communications manager and communications consultant. Currently, he teaches undergraduate, MBA and Executive MBA communications courses, and conducts executive training in various aspects of communication for management and business (recent clients include Bayer-Schering, Roche Diagnostics, Capitaland, Keppel AmFELS, MINDEF, Daimler Chrysler, Citibank, China Radio International, IBM Singapore, Heidrick&Struggles, and UOB). His current research is into the role of strategic communication functions in Human Resources Management and Development, and in communication issues for international business. Dr Connor is co-author of Business Communication: Asian Perspectives, Global Focus, which is now in its third edition.
