The Nanyang MBA is World’s Top 50 MBA Programme
  28 January 2008
The First Time a Singapore Business School's MBA Programme Makes it to the World's Top 50

Nanyang Business School's MBA has made it to the top 50 in the Financial Times' (FT) World Top 100 MBA 2008. The Nanyang MBA achieved a significant jump in ranking to 46th position up from 67th a year ago. This is the highest a Singapore Business School has ever been ranked ahead of several world-renowned universities. The latest ranking by FT re-affirms the Nanyang MBA as the best programme in Singapore.

“FT's latest rankings confirm that the Nanyang MBA has gained worldwide recognition as a programme that provides world-class training for business leaders for Asia and beyond,” said Prof Jitendra Singh, Dean of NBS. “80% of our students come from over 20 countries and this provides a rich setting for cross cultural learning of business practices. We will continue to excel in rigorous, relevant and innovative teaching and extend our corporate networks. I am confident that our global standing will improve further.”

The Nanyang MBA scored well in terms of international mobility, student diversity, international exposure and value for money.

FT's global MBA ranking is compiled based on two sets of surveys – one completed by alumni who graduated from the MBA programme three years ago, and the other by the business school.

In October 2007, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has also placed the Nanyang MBA as the best in Singapore and top three in Asia.
