On 12 July 2007, Nanyang Business School was officially recognised as a CFA Program Partner and became one of six CFA Program Partner Institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. CFA Institute is a highly-regarded global professional body that awards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential. To ensure the industry relevance of our finance graduates, NBS had always modeled our Banking & Finance specialization on the CFA curriculum. In a natural step toward achieving an even stronger integration with the CFA curriculum, we incorporated the CFA Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct curriculum into our specialization in Academic Year 2007/08. Henceforth, all NBS students who specialize in Banking & Finance would have to pass a CFA Ethics written test. This enhances the NBS finance education and enables us to meet the industry's demand for financial specialists with both strong quantitative skills and exemplary ethical qualities.
