Marketing

​​​​The Marketing Division comprises faculty from North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Many of our full time faculty obtained their doctoral degree from top universities around the world and a number of them have extensive business experience. Their diverse pool of expertise is sought after by major corporations in the region. 

As a division, we aim to excel as a thought-leader in the field, educate our students to be the next generation of business leaders and collaborate with industry partners to improve existing business practices. In line with our ambition to be a thought-leader in the field, our faculty members have published in many of the world's leading academic journals including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Research and Journal of Consumer Psychology. Our faculty also serve the academic community through editorships in prestigious academic journals and professional activities. As a testimony to the impact the division makes, our faculty members have won international awards for their research and contribution to knowledge creation. 

 
Beyond the academic community, our faculty collaborate closely with industry partners on research and teaching. Research collaborations and partnerships with industry allow faculty to tap into the pulse of business activity, ensuring their teaching and research are imbued with pertinent industry concerns. The division frequently invites industry partners to be guest speakers in many of the modules we offer so that our students can learn about the latest trends and insights from leading practitioners. 

 
At the undergraduate level, the division offers core courses such as Market Behaviour, Market Intelligence, Strategic Brand Management and Market Relationships; and cutting edge electives such as Consumer Neuroscience, Market Analytics, Digital Marketing and Innovation Marketing. At the post-graduate level, the division offers the Marketing Management track in the Nanyang MBA programme and the Master of Science in Strategic Marketing. The division also offers PhD in Marketing and our doctoral students have gone on to enjoy successful academic careers around th​e world.
