Business Analytics



​​Fast economy development facilitated by the internet and advanced information technology thrives on the availability of various types of data in all industries. There is a growing demand for researchers to harness the data for business decision making. Business analytics is to develop new insights and understanding of business performance based on various methods, such as econometrics, statistical models, predictive methods etc.

Our research group seeks to build methods as well as apply different analytics methods to tackle problems in different industries, such as mobile marketing, social media, organization dynamics, and healthcare. Our research findings can provide insights to stakeholders by transforming the non-meaning data into valuable information.

There are three main research focuses in this area:
