As small and medium enterprises grow and compete in their market, managers in these companies are compelled to develop and sharpen their competencies. Increasing demands on leaders require wide-ranging and up-to-date skills, coupled with a strategic perspective on business opportunities and challenges.
Developed in collaboration with WDA Singapore, this leadership programme is designed to help high potential SME managers to enhance your business acumen, your strategic mindset, and your business network. These will empower middle managers to move into senior positions and take on leadership roles in various areas of management.
What will you learn?
The programme is divided into 3 modules, each of 2 to 3 days, conducted 3 to 4 weeks apart. It covers topics such as competitive business strategy, finance, marketing, entrepreneurial thinking, operations and supply chain management. This design minimizes time away from your business, while allowing for reflection, practice, and application of new ideas between every session.
Who should attend?
The programme is designed for middle managers in SMEs who have the high potential to be developed into senior managers to take on leadership role. Participants should preferably have a minimum qualification of ‘A’ levels or Diploma with exceptions only for deserving candidates and minimum 5 years of work experience, and be in a management role (responsible for other people).

Programme Funding Support
Qualifying candidates from Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are eligible for up to 70% funding support from SSG.
You can develop existing young managers in your company with the Hi Potential Leadership Programme if your company meets the following criteria:
- At least 30% local (Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident) shareholdings; AND
- Company group annual sales turnover of not more than S$100 million OR
- Company group employment size of not more than 200 workers;
- Offers good opportunities for career development and advancement;
- Successful completion of a capstone project;
- Attained a minimum of 75% seminar attendance.
