General Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply?
All applications are submitted online. Applications should be submitted as early as possible to ensure a place in the programme.
Click on the red “Apply Now” button located at the bottom of each programme page to apply.

Where are the classes held?
Currently, we are working with various hotels. Classes will be held at a hotel in the city accessible by MRT.

Can we transfer credits to an academic programme like the MBA or EMBA?
Open enrolment programmes do not accrue credits as they do not have an assessment component and formal admissions criteria, for example, a need for a Bachelor’s degree.

How do you compute multiple programme registrations for the last 12 months to qualify for a group discount?
The calculation will be based on a calendar year from January to December.

For longer programmes such as the MDP @ Nanyang and WDA-Nanyang SME High Potential Leadership Programme, what if I miss classes due to work commitments?
Should you miss a class with your current cohort, you are expected to retake the module you missed with the subsequent cohorts subjected to the class being run. You are not permitted to miss any classes especially if you are funded. Funded participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and completion of all assigned project work.

Can any of the Open Enrolment Programmes be customized and offered as an in-company programme
Yes. We can tailor any of our open enrolment programmes to your company needs and objectives.

I am an overseas participant. Do you arrange accommodation for my stay in Singapore at preferential rates? What are the rates like? How much do I have to set aside for food and transport?
For overseas participants, Nanyang Executive Education has a list of suggested accommodation at selected hotels and at the university’s residence.
The price per night at these hotels ranges from S$120 to S$250. Please refer to our website for the list of hotels and contact our programme executives for preferred room rates and to make reservation.

The programme will run from 9 to 5+ pm every day. We will provide 2 tea breaks, at 1015 am and at 330 pm. Lunch is also provided and it is at 12 pm. Food is relatively affordable in Singapore. Hawker fare can be eaten for less than S$10. Meals at restaurants may cost between S$20-S$50 per person.

Other incidental costs will be taxi if you need to commute from hotel to class venue. You will not incur this cost if you put up near the venue.

I am an overseas participant. Do I pay GST?
If participants pay individually, GST will apply. Unless NBS invoices the company, the 7% will not apply.
