Career Development

​The Graduate Studies Career Development Office (GSCDO) team at the Nanyang Business School works in partnership with each MBA participant to focus on concrete career goals. Each student is then guided through the process of creating a customised career development strategy to achieve their goals within a realistic timeline.  

This year, we have completely revamped the career services offerings we provide to our employer partners and to our post-graduate students in 3 significant ways:

  1. As a valued employer partner, we have designed our services at the Graduate Studies Career Development Office (GSCDO) to ensure that you have a dedicated employer engagement specialist who understands your industry and your recruitment needs intimately in order to help you attract the best talent from NBS. Each one of us hails from the industry; combined with our passion for serving the next generation of leaders at NBS, we are a team of dedicated professionals whom you can rely upon as a strategic thought partner and a key source of talent at every stage of your recruitment journey.

  2. For the first time, we have provided our students with a personal career coach to give them 1-on-1 career coaching support and to help them develop key skills and self-awareness in their career development journey. In fact, NBS is one of the first few schools globally to assign a dedicated career coach to every MBA student.

  3. We have completely redesigned our careers curriculum for our post-graduate students in order to lift the capabilities of our students even higher. We have deliberately and meticulously created a comprehensive suite of career workshops, covering important topics like professional etiquette, networking, resume writing and interview preparation, all of which are aimed at ensuring that students meet the high demands of our employer partners.
