International Participants
We warmly welcome international participants, as they add to the richness and diversity of the Nanyang Fellows Programme. In fact, almost two-thirds of our participants come from outside Singapore, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Myanmar, Namibia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, South Korea, Sri-Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.
Living & Traveling Expenses
We estimate the living and traveling expenses for both Singapore and USA for this 12-month full-time programme to be at least US$25,000.
Accommodation
Our graduate apartments for the Nanyang Fellows are fully furnished. There are four single-bedrooms in each apartment. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with internet broad-band. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, micro-wave and cooking utensils. Other appliances include a fully automatic washing machine and dryer. Resident pays a monthly rental of S$420 (per bedroom; excluding utilities).
Immigration
International applicants who are offered admission must apply for student pass online directly to the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA). Approval must be obtained from ICA before arrival to Singapore. Details will be given in the offer-letter.
