The Nanyang Executive MBA is designed for senior executives who seek to enhance their leadership capabilities without interrupting their careers and positively contribute to their companies and society as a whole.
Flexible Work-Study Balance
We understand that many of you are busy executives with personal and career commitments. To accommodate to your demanding schedule, the Nanyang EMBA is conducted over five segments in 14 months, with an option to extend up to 30 months.
This way, you limit time spent away from home and office, and still earn a coveted MBA degree at the same time.
A typical segment is conducted from Monday through Saturday from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm with some evenings on networking sessions, guest speaker series or case discussion with your peers. Meals and tea breaks are provided for you.
An often overlooked aspect of studying an MBA programme is the access to people. The Nanyang EMBA programme is the perfect opportunity for you to build a strong network of successful professionals from diverse business backgrounds. This is why admission to the programme is highly competitive, and class size is limited - to ensure and facilitate peer learning.
The class discussions, projects, and even the meal and tea breaks are all opportunities for you to forge friendships that will support you both in your professional and personal lives. Buddy up to our world-class professors and faculty members who have rich experience not only in teaching, but also research, advising companies as consultants or board members.
Live Industrial Consultancy Project
One of the key projects you will work on during the Nanyang EMBA programme is the Live Industrial Consultancy (LiNC) project. LiNC is an educational collaboration between sponsor companies and the Nanyang EMBA programme. During the 9-month period, you will get the opportunity to be a consultant for a sponsor company. And with guidance from our faculty, you will work on a project for them, and in the process develop relationships with companies, and maybe even new career paths for yourself.
A global experience
Because Nanyang Business School has forged strong academic and industry alliances globally, you get to travel as part of the Nanyang EMBA programme to learn from renowned thought leaders overseas. General Management track comprises modules at UC Berkeley and The Wharton School; students from the Aviation track expand their knowledge at the IATA Training & Development Institute (ITDI) and Hospitality Management track segment takes place at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
