Online Application

Important Notes to Applicants:

1. Please read through the Application Procedures listed below carefully before completing the online application form. The submission of an incomplete application or failure to follow the instructions stated below will cause a delay in the processing of your application. A complete application includes the receipt of the items as described in Steps 1 to 4 listed below, after which your application will then be processed.
2. All documents must be clearly readable scan of the original document. Remember to mention application number in the subject line, while submitting the documents. We will not be able to track the documents without application number. In case you have not submitted your application, please do not email your documents to us.
3. You will be given an Application Number once your online application has been successfully sent. Kindly take note of this application number for future enquiry and checking of application status. 
4. You may check your application status and submit your supporting documents by clicking here​. Please have your application reference number and log in details handy. 
Due to overwhelming number of applications received, no further acknowledgements will be sent to you.
We will contact you if there are any outstanding documents, or if you are shortlisted for an interview.

5. Successful applicants will be notified of the result of their application(s) by the Graduate Students Office.

6. Any false or inaccurate information, or omission of material information, will render your application invalid. Students admitted on the basis of such information may have their candidature terminated by the University. 

7. Application closes on 28 Feb 2019. Applications received after this date will not be accepted. For supporting documents, please refer to Step 4 below.

Step 1 Submission of Application

Please complete the online application form and send it to us electronically. More detailed instructions may be found here.

You may submit your application before your GMAT/GRE test. Please indicate your test date and send us your score report once it is available.

Step 2 Referee's Report (an auto email will be send to your referee when you mention his email ID in the application and submit), Company Approval Form(for part-time applicants only), CMU Option (for part-time applicants only) and Checklist
Your Referee’s will receive the Referee Report form in their email once you mention their details in the application form. Please keep them informed and ask them to complete the form as soon as possible and share with us from their official (work) email to The referee's reports must be written in English and referees must be your supervisors or superiors who are in a position to judge your professional or managerial performance. A supervisor, project leader, or instructor would make a good reference. It is imperative to have a reference from someone who knows you well enough to make specific comments about you. Referee reports from relatives or personal friends will not be accepted. The Official Referee Report Form provided must be used and all other formats are not accepted. Please note applications received in other formats of Referee Reports will not be processed. Your Referee must submit the form via his/her official email to us at Please ensure that your name and Application ID is clearly indicated.

Step 3 Application Fee

Each application must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of S$100 (inclusive of 7% GST). On submission of application, you will be directed to application fee payment page to pay by VISA/MasterCard through internet payment, this is our preferred mode of payment.

Alternatively, you may use cheque/bank draft (for foreign applicants, please pay by bank draft and not by cheque and the clearing bank must be in Singapore) must be made payable to 'Nanyang Technological University' with your name and address written on the reverse side of the cheque/bank draft. Please do not send cash payment by post. The University will not be responsible for any loss of cash payment submitted by post. No application will be processed until the application fee is paid.​

Step 4 Supporting Documents

Please use the Checklist provided to ensure that you have uploaded all the documents to complete the application. This must be completed within two (2) weeks after the online application is received. Supporting documents must be clearly readable scan of the Original. Submission of irrelevant supporting documents may result in a delay in the processing of your application. You may check your application status or submit any documents at Application Status Page.

Step 5 Submission By email

Please share all your supporting documents through Application Status Page, in case of any pending or additional documents required, our admission team will get in touch with you. In case you are scheduled to take GMAT or GRE in near future (before application closure date, end of Feb) we encourage you to place your application before and submit the pending documents gradually.
